How I got started in UX/UI design
Hi, I’m Kate, a UX/UI designer with experience in graphic design and a solid framework in visual design. Graphic design gave me experience in prioritizing client needs, finding creative ways to communicate effectively and clearly, while also thinking about how final deliverables would be experienced by the end-customer. This customer oriented approach is how I discovered UX/UI design. I am eager to join a team that implements user centered design thinking to design products that solve real problems and are intuitive to use.
What I'm curious about
How to make impactful products that have a positive outcome for people who use them, and the world in which we occupy. I am also curious to know what it would be like if coffee was never created. Thanks to a 9th-century Ethiopian goat-herder named Kaldi and his curious goats, I will not know a world without coffee.
